Confusing Words and their Meaning.
In Our day-to-day life We see and read many Sightwords those are confusing in nature. Sometimes their meaning seems to be Same and sometimes their spelling seems to be same but they are not
And here is the list of those confusing Sightwords with meaning.
One: use one when number is important, when you want to emphasize that it's only one(not two or three).
Ex. One of these eggs is rotten, but others are Ok.
In all other cases , when the fact of being 'One' is not important , use a/an according to the beginning sound of the word.
Ex.1.I had an omelet for breakfast.
2. I brought a new car yesterday.
2. Able and Capable
The difference between these words is extremely small - but Usually we use Able to to describe current things someone can do and capable to talk about someone's future potential . It is not a strict rule, it is just general tendency.
. She's able to play a song perfectly after hearing it only once .
. She's capable of becoming a successful musician.
3. Advice and Advise
Advice is a noun and advise is a verb.
. She gave me some good advice.
. She advised me to get some rest.
4 . Affect and Effect
Affect is verb used for the process of one thing causing another thing to change .
Effect is a noun and it means the end result of some Change.
. This disease is affecting my ability to breathe.
. The medicine had an instant effect on the pain.
5. All, Whole and Every
Use Every with singular countable nouns.
. I exercise everyday.
. Every student in this class have a computer.
Use All with plural nouns Or with uncountable nouns to mean 100% Of many things.
. All of the student in this class have a computer.
Use Whole (less formal) or entire(more formal) with uncountable or singular countable nouns to means 100% of one thing.

6. Already, All ready and Alright, All right
All ready and All right (two words) mean that everything is ready and everything is correct or Ok.
. The students are all ready for test.= All students are ready for the test .
Already means that something happened earlier than expected.
. You don't have to wash the dishes - I've already done it.
7. Amount, number and quantity
Use Amount with uncountable nouns- things that can not be separatedor counted.
. I have huge amount of work to do this week .
Use Number with countable nouns- things can be counted and made plural .
. A large number of people comlained about the restaurant's terrible service.
8. Ancient and antique
The word ancient means very, very old , usually hundred and thousands of years.
The word antique describe an item that is from an earlier period usually 50-100 years old.
9. Among and between
It is often taught than between is used for 2 items and among is used for 3 or more but this is not completely true.
. Between is used when naming distinct , individual items (can be 2,3 or more) .
. Among is used when the items are part of the group or are not specially named (in this case must be 3 or more) .
This example will help illustrateillustrate the difference .
. The negotiations between Brazil , Argentina and chile are going well.
. The negotiations among the countries of South America are going well.
10. Amoral and Immoral
The word immoral means Something is against established moral principles.
. Many religions consider lying amd cheating to be Immoral.
The word amoral means Something Is completely free from moral considerations.
. Money itself is moral - it is simply a tool that can be used for good and or for evil.
